Learning to drive in Cardiff
We do encourage learners to also drive with the parents, friends and family whilst also taking lessons with us as any practice is good practice, you will need to have a vehicle that is taxed and insured (the vehicle should be suitable for your age) before taking it out on the road, ‘L’ plates need to be displayed on both front and back of the car till you get the full driving license and most importantly you can drive only in the company of somebody who is 21 years of age or above and has held a full driving license for a period of 3 or more years.
We have a team of highly qualified and skilled DVLA approved ADIs (Approved Driving Instructors), they are evaluated on a regular basis to ensure that the quality of training provided at our school is always up to date.
The tuition time that is assigned to you is dedicated completely to you and no other student is given lessons during that time. We also offer to pick you up from home, office, college or any other place so that you can get your lessons as per your convenience.
People get anxious during their initial hands-on training sessions. It is essential to stay calm and confident for safe driving. Your safety is a major concern for us. At Bennetts, we make every effort to boost up your confidence. We not only steer you to clear your driving tests but also inculcate the safe driving habits in you.
After passing the UK test, you will be on 2 years probation period i.e. if you get 6 or more penalty points you will lose your license. Consequently, you will have to reapply for your license which means you will again need to go through the theory and practical tests.
