You will need to complete 2 exams to qualify for a full UK driving licence. The first exam being a theory and hazard perception exam, once you have passed then you can then book your practical driving test where your dedicated instructor will guide you through all aspects of this ensuring you are a safe, competent driver and with the aim of passing your driving test 1st time.

Bennetts driving school is one of the most experienced and progressive driving schools in Gloucester, our aim is not only to help you get your driving license but to train you on one of the most essential skills of life.
Getting started with Bennetts
It is essential to understand and adhere to the laws and rules of the UK before you get started. These rules are laid down by The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). Our Approved Driving Instructors (ADI) have sound knowledge on these legalities. These experts give you driving lessons. We have our driving schools at different locations in the UK so that you can conveniently get your driving lessons. You also get picked from home, office, college or any other place as per your convenience.
When are you eligible to drive?
In the UK the minimum age to drive a car or van is 17 years. However there are particular age restrictions for specific vehicle types. The request for provisional license can be made when you are 15 years and 9 months old but it is issued only after you turn 17. Based on these you can take your first driving lessons but you need to be attended by a driver who has completed 21 years of age and who holds a valid license for minimum of 3 years for the applicable vehicle type which should be adequately taxed and insured.
