Bennetts are pleased to offer driving lessons for candidate’s from the age of 14 years old. We are a well established and trusted driving school with over 30 years experience in the industry. The demand for under 17 driving lessons is extremely high and our off road site is the only one of its kind in the Cheltenham area. 

All lessons are conducted with Bennetts professional driving instructors who are all DBS checked, fully insured, motivated and have excellent teaching techniques. Our vehicles are dual controlled for your safety. All lessons taken on the off road site will be documented on your progress record card and will count towards your driving lessons. You will be taught exactly the same way as if you were 17, so you will have a huge head start for when you reach that age.

Bennetts under 17’s off road site has road markings, left turns, right turns a roundabout and a zebra crossing it also has the facility to teach turn in the road, left reverse, right reverse, parallel parking and bay parking. All off road lessons will be explained by the instructor using diagrams to make learning to drive as simple and effective as possible.

All 14 + courses run every Sunday throughout the year, places are restricted so we can take pre bookings only. If you turn up at the site without having made a booking, then we will not be able to assist you.

We would ask that all candidate’s are accompanied by a parent/guardian. Your parent/guardian is more than welcome to accompany you in the car with the driving instructor or watch comfortably from the viewing area, there is also a Public House and Restaurant ideally situated right next to the site where they can grab a bite to eat or a drink.

Please make sure you bring identification, ie: valid passport or birth certificate as we are only insured to teach drivers from the age of 14.
