Frequently Asked Questions by Learner Drivers
All you need is your provisional licence which you can apply for when you are 15 and 9 months old. We will need to see this on your initial driving lesson and you will need it to book your theory and practical test.
The DVSA state that the national average a learner takes from start to finish is around 67 hours but we are proud to say that our average is 30 hours.
Our instructor will pick you up from the arranged location, introduce himself, he will ask to see your provisional licence and ask you to read a number plate from 20 metres away. He will then drive you to a quiet location if needed, explain how the controls of the car work and will get you driving asap.
We offer both weekly lessons and intensive courses, our weekly lessons take around 6 months depending on waiting times for tests and your progress. If you'd like to pass your test quickly then we are able to offer intensive courses for you.
