Headboard Franchise – Without Our Cars
What we mean by a headboard franchise is that you are providing your own vehicle, either bought, leased or hired. You will still benefit from all the services we provide on a full franchise. The majority of our instructors prefer this method as quite often they join us from another driving school or they may have been trading under their own name so in many cases, they have already sourced their own vehicle.

Full Driving Instructor Franchise – With a car
All cars supplied through Bennetts will come fully insured and include all mechanical repairs and servicing. All our vehicles are fitted with he-man dual controls and your vehicle is covered for breakdown with home start and recovery.
So if you are looking for a professional straightforward franchise without the hassle of maintaining your own car and putting wear on it then this may be suited for you. Part Time Headboard Franchise

A part time instructor would typically expect to work around 15-20 hours per week, any more than this and we would recommend you to take up a full time franchise with us. Being part time has all the advantages of being with us the same as a full time franchise.
Part Time Franchise – With a car
All cars supplied through Bennett’s will come fully insured and include all mechanical repairs and servicing. All our vehicles are fitted with he-man dual controls and your vehicle is covered for breakdown with home start and recovery.
Part time maximum mileage per year is 20,000. A part time instructor would typically expect to work approximately 15-20 hours per week any more than this we would recommend you to take up a full time franchise with us.

I first joined Bennett’s in 1999 as a PDI juggling my full time job and my driving lessons after getting fully qualified I gave up my job and became a full time instructor after a few years qualified I decided to go on my own but the grass is not always greener on the other side and rejoined Bennetts 2 years later, since rejoining I have furthered my career by becoming a fully qualified fleet driving trainer. If I ever hear of an instructor looking to join a school I always point them in the direction of Bennett’s.

Our Driving School Franchise
Bennetts driving school is a company with very different principles to the other nationwide driving schools. Our objective isn’t to accumulate as many isntructors as possible, nor is it to train as many as we can. Our goal is to be the most effective – suggesting having the right amount of excellent and honourable instructors in the right places where we have a high demand for pupils looking for driving lessons.
If you have been doing this a while, you’ve most likely seen numerous large facilities fluctuate as a result of greed. This is simply not how we work, you can trust we are good for the work and if we can’t assist you, guess what? We will be honest with you at the beginning – how’s that for a change?
We supply ongoing support throughout the franchise process, with a full-time workplace group available to assist you manage and maintain your bookings.

We cover most locations across the UK now, however if you are beyond the locations we cover, we generally need a few weeks notice to prepare and gain some exposure in the new area. This permits us time to develop a presence online so that you can hit the ground running.

We’ll work with you to ensure you have the right number of pupils to make your diary work. We will keep supplying them to you until you tell us not to.
What is pupil supply like in my area?
We keep track of student supply in each location so when you enquire with us we can tell you straight away if we can help you or not.
How many pupils will I receive in a week?
Our aim is to ensure you receive a full diary as quickly as possible. In fact, it is not uncommon to have a full diary within two to four weeks. Once you are fully booked we will drip feed as many new pupils as you need to keep your diary booked and ensure you are earning what you need.
