Bradford is based in West Yorkshire in the foothills of The Pennines. Bradford is accessed by numerous roadways, the A647 between Leeds and Halifax, through Queensbury, the A650 in between Wakefield and Keighley, the A658 to Harrogate and the A6036 to Halifax through Shelf. The M606, a spur off the M62 motorway, connects Bradford with the national motorway network. Although originally planned to go directly into the city centre it ends at the ring road, the A6177. Bradford remains in a greenbelt region which extends to surrounding counties.

There are 2 test centres in Bradford, Heaton and Thornbury. Heaton’s address is 15 Fairfield Street, Heaton, BD9 5AS. Hectic roadways around Heaton are A6177 and A658, with Thornbury found at The Yard, Midpoint, BD3 7AY. Hectic roads around Thornbury are A647, Ring Roadway and Bradford Roadway.

Heaton’s roads can be quite busy and congested but you may also experience rural driving along with property roadways.
