All you need is your provisional licence which you can apply for when you are 15 and 9 months old. We will need to see this on your initial driving lesson and you will need it to book your theory and practical test.
The DVSA state that the national average a learner takes from start to finish is around 67 hours but we are proud to say that we our average is 30 hours.
Our instructor will pick you up from the arranged location, introduce himself, he will ask to see your provisional licence and ask you to read a number plate from 20 metres away. He will then drive you to a quiet location if needed, explain how the controls of the car work and will get you driving asap.
Yes of course, we have an excellent team of instructors providing both automatic and manual lessons in Bridgend, Maesteg and Porthcawl so you are more than welcome to swap to a different transmission if you prefer.
